Testimonials
“Amy has the intuitive knowledge of a true yogi, and this shows in her teaching and her relationship to everyone around her. She is not complacent to teach based only on the basic foundations of the art, but constantly and consistently builds on that foundation, so that her teaching is like a many-roomed house with new understandings in each room. She brings more than just understanding to the student, but a sense of true yearning for the fruits of the practice.”

"Amy imbues every class with her intelligence, humor, deep knowledge of yogic principles, and joy of teaching. She inspires confidence in my practice with her use of carefully chosen words of instruction and perceptive feedback, and she always seems to know how to challenge my limits without exceeding them. I always leave class tired but happy, and with the feeling that I've learned something new."

"I was having lower back problems from years of bad posture working at the computer. I set up a one-on-one yoga session with Amy and she showed me movements, poses, and exercises that helped me develop strength in my core and correct skeletal posture. I have applied these tools and knowledge in my daily life and the chronic pain issues I was having are completely cured. I feel young again -- Thanks Amy!"

"Being apart of this teacher training provided me with the opportunity to learn about Yoga in a safe and nurturing environment. Amy lives her Yoga. As a result the principles and information she provides in the training are infused with quality instruction, listening and feedback. I was inspired by each individual within our group and learned so much by interacting with them as well as each of the amazing guest instructors. I was able to begin helping and teaching at a studio half way through the program and have had the opportunity to teach at other studios and provide private instruction since then. I am grateful to feel as though I can teach as little or as much as I want. My experience through Niralambaya has given me a background to use for the rest of my life. Going though the experience was life-changing in many ways. I now have a deep confidence in my desire to be a part of the yoga community and established a commitment to myself to practice for the rest of my life."
